In "Mara" they used shot reverse shot multiple times throughout.
The main types of editing effects used included: jump cuts, black and white colour effects and cutaway.
 The only transition that was used was fade out.

The continuity rules that are used in "My Voices" include shot reverse shot and match on action. The shot transitions include fade in and smash cut; the main type of effects that are used include jump cuts and layering.

In the opening sequence of "Guilt" the continuity rule that it follows in shot reverse shot. It also uses 180 degree rules and invisible cuts.


We think that "My Voices" is the most relevant to our opening sequence. This is because it contains the key aspects that we aim to use, such as layering and fading in and out.
