Location ideas for opening sequence

This image of a wardrobe would be good for our opening sequence because a wardrobe may be a place for a child to (for example) play a game of hide and seek and something go wrong within the game. This would work as part of a psycho thriller because it has the element of the unknown. This would attract the target audience because it hides what is happening to the characters and leaves the characters in the unknown. It would work creatively because it allows characters to have that element of secret.

The woodland setting would work as an opening sequence because it suggests to the audience secrecy and hiding things that people don't want to find. It links to psycho thriller because in many psycho thrillers, there is often a murder which is hidden, which is what the what the woodland area suggests. The woodland area relates to the target audience as it may be what is an expected location. It works creatively because effects and editing technique can be added to create an effective opening sequence.

The swing would work as an effective opening sequence because it is linked to what children play on; considering that children like to spend time playing on swings. It links to pscho thriller because there  are many things that we can do with swings to give an effective outlook and therefore meeting the target audiences expectations. It works creatively as swings can be worked with to give an effective finishing look.
