Evaluation of Storyboard for memento
My storyboard for the opening scene of memento was good because it had a lot of detail in the description of the scene. This meant that the sequence was easy to recreate for another group who had no further instructions. Furthermore, the storyboard was also good because it had clear pictures which were simple, but effective. To improve my storyboard i could add more information about editing techniques and other post filming ideas
I did this task so that I could learn how to effectively storyboard. This concept is important when creating an opening sequence as it gives you a clear idea and structure to what you want to create. This makes the filming process easier as you already have a set plan of the shots you need to get. From this task I learnt that storyboards have to contain specific details, such as, the duration of the shot and what angle it will be filmed at. When planning my opening sequence I will make sure to create a detailed storyboard so that the opening sequence is clear and precise.
