The use of the empty street shows the psychological element of the Thriller because it shows how empty the character is feeling inside, the use of the snow conveys the characters cold heart and how the character doesn't know who they truly are which in turn helps the narratives continuity. This screenshot is creative because it uses mies-en-scene very clever, the line of footsteps infant of the character conveys the message that the character is after someone, although a minor detail the scene would not be the sae if there were more footprints in the snow. This screenshot is also creative because of the shadows, the use of lighting in the scene creates an almost ominous feeling, this is also shown since the lighting means that it does not reveal what the character looks like. We could use this in our Opening Sequence when character B comes back, this could be one of the first scenes since it helps convey all the right messages about character B.
The staircase also conveys the sub genre because it shows the never-ending search for an answer. The numerous floors and multitudes of doors which could lead to any eventuality fits the psychological thriller genre as it messes with the audiences head the there could be any
