Overall, there are 18 titles in the opening sequence. The main characters and the directors and the production companies. This is because they have the first titles that come up in the opening sequence.  The first title that you see is the production company as they are the people who gave the movie the money. Also, the main actors come before the title of the opening sequence because they are more important in the film, as well as bring in the audience.

The style of the font implies the thriller genre because it is the 'chiller' font, which creates an element of suspense and mystery, as well as the shape of the writing, imitates the idea of scratching into something to the viewer. The way the font moves across the shot disorientates the scene and draws the attention of the viewer. The contrasting colours of the font and the background makes it stand out. The white on the black background makes it seem more chilling to the audience. `The editing is a collection of jump cuts and flashes which also disorientate the audience.

The titles demonstrate the genre as they create a sense of mystery and suspense towards the audience. The jittery text, as well as the way it moves across the screen, makes the audience build up a sense of tension and the sense of unaware, as it is not clear to the audience what the film will be about in the first two minutes.
